A recent graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Emily Valine majored in Communications and is carving out a career in journalism in a day-and-age when traditional newsrooms are collapsing around blogs, Instagram and social media. Emily has featured the Twitter IPO, the phenomena of Snapchat, and is keeping pace with and reporting on New Media. She is proud to have pioneered and pen, #GirlBoss: Spotlighting the Enterprising Young Woman.

A graduate of the prestigious University of Durham, Matthew Flacks took his first job as a Parliamentary Analyst at DeHavilland, a definitive provider of political intelligence in the UK, before segueing to Drama School at the acclaimed Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts where he’s been engaged on stage and screen ever since. Mr. Flacks is elated to have pioneered and pen, Posh: Stepping out at the Parties, Soirées and Hot Spots in London.

Adriana Sharp

After studying at the Universidad San Gregorio in her native Ecuador, Adriana Sharpe apprenticed with master painter and sculptor Oswaldo Guayasamín: creator of a Pan-American art form of human and social inequities. Her expressionistic oils and acrylics on canvas have been shown in galleries throughout The Americas and she is proud to have pioneered and pen: Treasure Hunter: From Christies to Craigslist, sorting the Art World’s Trash from its Treasures.

A recent graduate from the University of Nevada, Dylan Smith was the Literary Director of UNR’s Literature and Arts Journal as well as a columnist for the student-run magazine, Insight. A nature retreat, and two-month isolation from technology, resulted in his critical article “The Weight of Texting: One Summer. No Phone,” and he’s proud to have launched his tenure as a professional journalist with an interview with the iconic environmental policy expert, Michael Shellenberger.

Though she considers herself a modern gypsy at heart, Libby Gillette was raised on a plantation style estate in the heart of the Old South. Educated at Country Day School, the movement which shared values with the Art and Crafts Movement, the singer/songwriter dwelled in an inspirational atmosphere designed to foster creativity. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, she was appointed Music Editor in 2014.

He holds a BA in Philosophy from BYU, and a combined JD/MPP from Boston University School of Law. Mr. Gowing resides in Charlotte North Carolina with his family.

A former Editor at Harper’s Bazaar, America’s first fashion magazine, Leslie has an extensive reach within the fashion industry and remains passionate about cuisine, theater, and couture – her three favorite pastimes. A graduate of New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Leslie was appointed Charlatan Magazine’s New York Bureau Chief in 2010, and continues to report on and cover New York City’s culture in her column Grand Bazaar: A Day in the Life of Our Culture.
